This tastes more like a dessert than a coffee, but with 77% LESS sugar than a big chain ice mocha latte (yep, you read that right – 77% less), it’s a drink! This is my big focus lately – reducing the amount of added sugar in my diet. I try not to think about it when I order a coffee to go, but on days when I can make my own, I really enjoy it!
These are fairly easy to make. Now if you want to make fresh whipped cream, that takes a little longer, but let me tell you, a little cinnamon sprinkled on top in lieu of the whipped cream=divine (it just doesn’t photograph well)
If you have a blender, you can make your own frozen mocha frap. Without a blender, this would just be an iced mocha latte. This is NOT as sweet as a frap you would get from the big coffee joints, but when you start to cut down on sugar in the diet, you become much more sensitive to the sweet. Take the lightly sweet and be a happy and healthy person today.
