Registered dietitians who have an entrepreneurial spirit are my heroes. Fellow RD, Jodi over at Create Kids Club created these lunchbox cards and they are so fun!
Jodi sent me a box of her Lunch Bites cards. We are moving in slow motion right now (the end of the school year), so these are helping me put a pep in my step, for sure. I was so excited to make lunches this week.
As much as I try to send in little notes with my kids, it just doesn’t happen very often. When I do, they get wet from the ice pack and the ink runs and it just looks like a mess.
These are durable cards that will for sure make it to lunchtime, regardless of how much that lunchbox gets tossed about.
I tried these out with my kindergartener, who is still learning to read and this is his lunchbox above. He was able to read the card and he loved it!
I asked my 3rd and 5th grader if they liked the cards. They didn’t only like them, they “LOVED them.”
I could tell that they were looking forward to days 2 and 3, after the first day.
The cards are two sided. They have little motivational sayings, quick little recipe ideas, and fun facts. For my kids, it gives them something to look forward to in their lunchbox, because it’s a different card everyday. It’s pretty amazing the things that kids will remember long after they have grown up. I hope this is something they love long after lunchbox days are gone.
I know we are at the end of the school year, but I have a deal for you. Jodi has provided my readers with a 10% off code to get your own Lunch Bites and tuck them away for next school year.
Use the code “LUNCH” at checkout to get your 10% off until May 25th!
*I was given a pack of cards to review. All opinions about Lunch Bites are all my own.
