Life gets busy. My life is busy. There are many times when people ask me how I get it all done. Trust me, some days it’s a juggling act. Right now, it takes 2 adults to run this busy family.
I miss blogging. The past few years have been taken over by recipe development, video production, taking on clients, and…well, life. It’s hard to keep up with blogging. Blogging has always been meant to produce conversational entries and updated regularly. I’m ready to blog again. I love writing down my thoughts.
So, I am going back to updates. I may not get to it everyday, but I still want to share my opinions, tell everyone what’s cooking in my kitchen, and what products I’m loving at the moment. Sometimes, I just want to let everyone know what’s new in the world of Sarah.
I’m feeling pretty good lately. The weather has been strangely cooperative for my workout schedule. I’ve found a yoga class that I really like…it’s like torture, but I like it. Only because I’m sore after every.single.class. I’m feeling strong. That may change after I get some jeans in the mail and I’m fairly certain I ordered them a size too small. That will be disappointing. And it will make me want to work out more.
I am over the moon about my new cookbook! No one can bring me down right now. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to write a book. I remember being in english class in high school and telling myself I would write a book. I was convinced it was going to be about my life, but a cookbook works! I love cooking and I love sharing my recipes, so it’s a good fit for me.
I’ve been starting out my days on a good note. There is a company I found at the big dietitian annual conference and I’m super excited about their products. It’s called Kuli Kuli and they sell moringa powder. I really like their new protein smoothies with moringa. Here I am. I used their protein powder, a cup of milk, 1 banana, and 1 cup of ice. Blend!
I’m not a huge fan of seeing myself of camera. Especially with no make-up on, in the morning, after a workout.
One of my biggest morning routine musts is water. I am pretty strict about this. I drink at least 2 glasses before I drink coffee or eat.
Today was a run day. I got in a 3.2 today. Boy, it feels good.
I had some amazing meals today. Take a look at this snack for today. In all fairness, this is for a new project I’m working on. I love a good snack and it’s beautiful!
I got some writing done today and some errands and secured a client, which is always a good thing. Dinner was enchiladas, straight out of my new cookbook. They were amazing. My husband is always grateful for leftovers. That means he has a good lunch for tomorrow.
No teaching for me tonight, so I get to relax, which is much needed. Until tomorrow. This has been a day in my life.
