We are a snacking family and I see no reason to hide it. I reviewed a new trendy diet this weekend and it is very restrictive on snacks. I get it – snacks can add massive amounts of empty calories to the diet. However, they can also fill the gaps that my kids might be missing during our regular meals. Just because I’m a dietitian doesn’t mean that my kids sometimes don’t eat right.
