French Onion Dip

Serves: 2 cups
  • 1 medium yellow onion - ¾ cup chopped fine
  • 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup plain 2% greek yogurt
  • ½ cup low fat sour cream
  1. In a small saucepan, add 2 T olive oil over medium low heat
  2. Add chopped onions and ½ teaspoon salt
  3. Saute for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally (if they start to get too brown, turn the heat down)
  4. After 10 minutes, add the Worcestershire sauce and turn off heat, keep in pan for an additional 2-3 minutes
  5. In a small bowl, add yogurt and sour cream and stir together
  6. Stir in onion mix with the yogurt and sour cream
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours
